Dear Parents of students at West Valley 1 and West Valley 2/3,
Early this morning police departments in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming received bomb threats for many schools. While most reports of this nature are simply threats or pranks, we always take them seriously and follow our emergency action plan. At 6:15 am, the police came to our school with bomb sniffing dogs to do precautionary sweeps and cleared the school. We are grateful to have such a great working relationship with local law enforcement, who responded so quickly to ensure our students are safe. We are cleared to hold school today as normal.
